Refugio Rodriguez Obituary
He was preceded in death by his mother, Soledad Chloe Victoria; father, Pedro Peter Rodriguez; and a younger brother, Jimmy.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Rodriguez of Silesia; children, Nini Lolita and Jim Branstetter of Billings, Virginia and Jerry Jones of Billings, Luis and Carrie Rodriguez of Huntley, Manny Rodriguez of Silesia and Pedro and Leslie Rodriguez of Silesia; sisters, Rosie Ehlers and Margaret Gatica; brothers, Dave Rodriguez and Little Henry Rodriguez; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Henry was a member of the VFW, Eagles and MTA. He served six years (1950 – 1956) in the American Armed Forces. He was hired on at the North Pacific Railroad when he was 15 and retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad in 1978. In 1975, he purchased El Rancho which he owned and operated until the present. He, also, raised registered Black Angus cattle in Worden.
Henry had many friends and was well-known and loved by them and his family. He was a man who lived for family and friends and will be missed by them all.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services with military honors will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Laurel. A reception will follow at El Rancho in Silesia. Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel is in charge of arrangements.
