James and I were so sorry to learn of Ray's passing. He was such a sweet person and will be truly missed by all who had the fortune of knowing him. He put up a fierce fight, and had a strong ally, you Carolyn, in that fight. We remember the last time we saw him he was still happy and upbeat.

So very very sorry to hear of Ray´s passing. Time spent hiking, canoeing, exploring nature with Ray&Carolyn were some of the best vacations of my life. I will be forever grateful for your kindness, including me on trips with family and friends, guiding us to wonderful national parks, telling tales of sand hill cranes etc. Sincere condolences. My thoughts & prayers are with you, Carolyn and all the family, during the healing days ahead. I love you dearly

What a life lived! We are so sad for Carolyn and those who will feel the loss of Ray so deeply. We feel privileged to have known Ray and know he has left behind so many wonderful memories for so many people.
