I have not seen Uncle Ray since I was a little girl and he would visit the family in Miami. I do remember he loved watching the Orange Bowl Parade. I also remember the smile he always had. As I have gotten older, I will always remember Uncle Ray's thirst for knowledge. I was told that after he retired he signed up for classes at the college. That does not surprise me. I believe he felt there was so much to learn and he wanted to learn as much as he could, no matter what stage of life he was in. What an inspiration he was to others. This is what I will always remember about Uncle Ray.

Uncle Ray and I have not had much contact for a number of years... but I remember him from my early years when he would visit our family in Florida. His sense of humor was constantly on display. He will be remembered by me for the interest he showed in math & science... and I'm sure he is one of the many influences I had while growing-up that led me to be a high school math teacher for the past 33 years. Uncle Ray... you WILL be missed.

Unfortunately, due to distance my contact with Ray, my brother, has been very limited these past years, especially since his confinment to a nursing home. I offered Mass for the repose of his soul and for his surviving family members, especially his wife, Irene, and surviving son, Richard, during this time of sorrow and loss. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful deparated rest in eternal peace.
His beloved brother, Leonard
