Casas (nee Muzzulini), proud father of Richard (Katherine) Casas, Robert Casas, PhD, Laurie (Ekkehard Kubler) Casas, M.D. and Edward (Kristin) Casas, M.D., loving grandfather of Mindy, Meghan, McCall, R. Maxim, Jeffrey, Manfred, Matthew, Connor, Chad, Colin and Charlise and great-grandfather of Elliot, McKenzie and Ireland, devoted brother of Edward (Teresa) Casas, PhD and the late Ramon E. (Rosa) Casas, M.D. Memorial Mass 3 p.m., Sunday, December 7, at Divine Word International, Chapel of the Holy Spirit, 2001 Waukegan Rd., Techny. Interment Private. I was a Respiratory Therapist at St. Francis Hospital. Dr. Casas was a great Physician and teacher. He encouraged me to go to Medical School which I did.

I had the great pleasure of woking as a nurse in the Surgical Heart Unit for 17 years and will always have wonderful memories of Drs. RM and RE Casas. Dr. Casas will be missed.

We were so sorry to hear of Dr. Casas death. WE were patients of his back in the 60s He treated our whole family. He was always willing to listen . he was compassionate , and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed. John and Mary Schnell
