Rae Delman Obituary

Delman, Rae Debra 92, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2006. Rae and her beloved husband, Hy, owned and operated Meadows Bowl, Northeastwood Bowl and All Star Bowl beginning in 1958. Hy passed away in 1980, but Rae continued to operate the bowling alleys until she retired in 2003. She was a member of The Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation and the Indpls. Bowling Proprietors Association. She is survived by her loving son, Byron S. (Laura) Delman of Chicago; four grandchildren, Pam Lynch, Aimee Demain, Andrew Delman, Peter Delman; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her dear son, Jerrold J. Delman; sister, Bertha (Leo) Lippman; brothers, Henry (Belle) Mann and Jack (Leah) Mann. Funeral Services will be in the Chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, IL on Monday, October 9th, at 2:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
