Rachel Smith Obituary

Rachel B. Smith, 79, of Clemmons, North Carolina, formerly of Chattooga County, Georgia, a second-grade teacher for 19 years at Summerville Elementary School, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2000. The family will receive friends at the on Thursday, September 28, 2000, 1 p.m. until time of funeral services at 2 p.m., at J.D. Hill Funeral Home, 10355 Commerce Street, Summerville, Georgia. Services will be officiated by the Rev. Jim Dykes. Interment will be at Summerville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Southern Piedmont Chapter, 3420 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215.
