PHYLLIS WINSTRAL-MILLER Obituary

WINSTRAL-MILLER--Phyllis. The sun has set on the life of Phyllis Winstral-Miller of New York City and Harborside, Maine. She died peacefully at home in Manhattan, surrounded by family and friends on March 23, 2010. She was the beloved wife of Jonathan S. Miller, the cherished stepmother of Beth and son-in-law Fred Felleman and Jennifer and son-in-law Cary Antill. She is deeply mourned by grandchildren Brandon Miller, Sam, Greg and Maggie Antill, by her brother Len and sister-in-law Helen Winstral, by sister-in-law Barbara Henley and Ernest Henley and nephews Davis and Alan Henley and Adam and Jonathan Winstral. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents Rae and Harry Winstral of Miami Beach, FL. This beautiful, highly competent woman was fiercely and lovingly involved with all in her family, and was the most loyal of friends. Phyllis worked for 30 years as an assistant to the chairman of James Felt Realty Services. She was a passionate sailor, gardener, collector, reader, and companion to her husband, truly a "woman for all seasons". The family thanks her amazing friend and caregiver, Elieze Charles, for the love and skill that cushioned the last difficult year of Phyllis's life. A Memorial Service will be held at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 180 West 76th Street on Sunday March 28 at 2:30 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 160 Lexington Avenue, Manhattan.
