I, too, worked with Phyllis at Quaker Oats. Our running joke was about my pasty, Irish skin. She'd frequently say to me "Maureen, why do you always look so pale?" and I'd reply, "Because I don't have your natural tan!" We'd both laugh like crazy.
My other fondest memory is how proud she was of her children. I hope they all realize what joy they brought to her life.
Phyllis, you may be gone but you certainly are not forgotten. Here's to you!

For those who new phyllis, new she was a real go getter. From what i remember the most, Phyllis's days started quite early, with a stop at Donkin Donut first. Beyone that, phyllis's interllect, and knowledge was one that always was a useful tool. she will forever be remembered.

I worked with Phyllis at Quaker Oats over an eight year period. We had fun and a lot of laughs especially when we sat next to each other for three years. Although she left us at too young an age, there is comfort knowing she's out of pain and at peace. Prayers and God's blessings to all who grieve this loss.

I'll always remember Phyllis always talking about her potato chip fingernails, and of course her wonderful personality.
