Phyllis Bobbitt Obituary

LEBANON – Phyllis Bobbitt, 75, passed away on Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at her granddaughter's home.
She was born in Jenkins Ky. on July 23, 1932. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Seldon Fleming and mother, Elsie May Hill Fleming; her husband, James Bobbitt; sons, Michael Frances and Curtis Bobbitt; one sister, Charlotte Fleming; three brothers, Doyle, Jason and Shirley Fleming; and two grandchildren, Micah Francis and Amanda Rose.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Patricia Rose and son-in-law Danny Large; special daughter-in-law, Beth Francis; three sons, Delmous (Teresa) Bobbitt, David (Brenda) Flemin and James Barry Bobbitt; four grandsons, Nathan, Matthew and Christopher Francis and Eric Mullins; ten granddaughters, Nancy Reynolds, Melissa Short, Virginia Rose, Malena Frances, Ashley Rosenthall, Angel Buker, Tina Buker, Donna Mullins Crystal Stanley and Malinda Bobbitt; one sister, Annette Damron; four brothers, Jimmy, Johnny, Darrell and Kyle Fleming; sister-in-law and friend, Virginia Fleming; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be the family. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Stanley, Kyle Fleming, Darrell Fleming, Jimmy Fleming and Johnny Fleming.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at 1 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel in Clintwood, with the Rev. Lester Mullins officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Phipps Cemetery Clintwood.
Mullins Funeral Home and staff are serving the Bobbitt family.
