Beloved husband of Rosemarie; devoted father of Lisa (Donald) Kiesgen, Anthony, and Charise (Dave) Lorentz; loving son of the late Anthony and Mary Di Natale; loving grandfather of Kiersten (Sam) Gentile, Alexis, Katelyn (Eric) Lostroscio, Anthony, Andrew, Adyson Di Natale-Michniewicz, Kennedy Kiesgen, Emmerson and Ellison Lorentz; great-grandfather of Gianna and Giuliana Gentile and Quinn Grace Lostroscio; dear brother of Josephine "Dolly" (Andrew) De Maria and the late Marie (the late Richard) Pretzie; beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 9:00 a.m. from Salerno's Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago, Ralph Massey Funeral Director, to The Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii. Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Friday 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For info (773)889-1700. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Cancer Society appreciated.

So sad to hear of Phil passing. I remember him fondly, he was a really nice to the Smerz kids. He made the best home homemade pasta and always had cool stories to tell.
