I knew Bob Winbush as a tireless, self-sacrificing warrior in the battle for justice. He never waivered nor demurred when he believed his purpose to be true. My father, my family, and I will always hold dear his memory. We trust that Almighty God, the father of our faith, will give you comfort.

There is obviously no good time or way for someone you care about to die. I wanted to somehow tell everyone how sorry I am for your loss. I wish I could convey my condolences in person; however, flowers and my prayers are always with you. It is times like this that I most feel the physical distance that separates me from my friends and loved ones. At the very least I want you to know that I am out here and care. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.
