When I saw Mr Wicyk obit it brought back many memories from the years I lived 2 doors over in the Austin Area of Chi.. Cindy was my best friend and we were always together either in her back yard in the little pool or in the basement playing "Meet the Beatles" on the record player(my parents would not allow this music in our home) while playing Monopoly which would take days to finish. Skipper lived up on the second floor and Cheryl and Cindy shared a bedroom on the main floor. Mr. Wicyk was a sweet man who always welcomed me no matter what. What a long life he had with such a nice family.
Cindy, I wish I could have paid my respects but know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Would love to rekindle some lost time.
