Peter Tsourmas Obituary

Tsourmas, Peter Age 85, born February 8, 1932 in Slimnitsa, near Kastoria, Greece, passed away on July 1, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Florence, deceased (nee Karoubas), loving father of John (Caroline), proud grandfather of Peter, Alex and Christopher, brother of Pavlos (Irene) and Jim (Barbara), and The late Vangelis, deceased (Constantina), and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Immigrated here in 1951 to live with the Nick Tsourmas family and help at his uncles' L & N restaurant, and later also owned Johnny's and TopFlight restaurants. He worked hard and sacrificed much with his wife Florence and brother-in-law and partner Paul to build their lives here and then together, they were always there and ready throughout the years to open their homes and their hearts to others and help family and friends with their loving support and generosity, only to receive so much support in return during these last few years when he needed it. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Damar- Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice, Illinois from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m..
