Peter Toriello Obituary

Peter Toriello of Pomona NY died Sunday October 2, 2005, he was 59 years old. Mr. Toriello was born on May 20, 1946 in the Bronx to Sylvio and Angelina Toriello where he was raised and attended local schools. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. He married Judee Savignano on September 20, 1970 at St. Mary’s Church in the Bronx. Mr. Toriello worked for Met Foods both in Pelham and the Bronx for over 30 years, and retired as a meat supervisor. He was a member of the UFCW local 464A and a communicant of St. Boniface Church in Wesley Hills.

Peter is survived by his devoted wife Judee of Pomona NY; his four loving children; Peter and his wife Gina Rosa Toriello of Butler, NJ, Stacy and her husband Nicholas Salinas of Nanuet, Gina Toriello and Andrew Toriello both of Pomona, his 2 dear sisters Sylvia Donato of Tappan and Patricia Cippolaro of Sun City Arizona, and his cherished grandson Michael. He is also survived by an Aunt and Uncle and many nieces and nephews.

Peter’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday October 7, 2005 at 10:00am at St. Boniface church in Wesley Hills, NY. The family will be present to receive friends at the WANAMAKER & CARLOUGH Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. “To Sign Peter’s Guest Book or for Directions Visit wanamakercarlough.com”
