Marcia and I have so many happy memories of our times with you personally, and at the Dutch Consul's receptions, and of course at the many meetings of the Midwest Chapter of The Holland Society of NY. Being a Schenck also means that I understand the deep significance of our common Dutch heritage from the earliest years of settlement of our North American Continent. Peter was always hospitable, friendly, good natured, and we shall miss him immensely. To Ann and the children, go our deepest, sincere condolences and best wishes.

To the Schenck Family - I am thinking of you all and sending my warmest thoughts and biggest hugs in remembering and celebrating the life of Mr. Schenck as I knew him as a child, having played with Peg in your Doylestown house and magical yard. Mr Schenck always greeted us kids with open arms and a kind encouraging word. A larger than life figure indeed. My sympathies and remembrances – Love Susan Sperry
