Peter Drives Obituary

Peter John Drives, 58, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on July 14, 2021.
He was born Oct. 13, 1962 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Dr. John and Sharon Drives. After graduating from Sheboygan South High he went on to receive an Associate in Culinary Arts at Madison Area Technical College in Madison, Wisconsin. He worked in the food industry in the area before committing to the United States Navy for four years where he served as an MS on the USS Hewitt in San Diego. .
Peter moved to Lake Havasu City to be closer to his parents and was a resident of the area for 15 years. During this timeframe, he was actively employed as a chef at Montana Steak House, ChaBones, Martini Bay and Lake Havasu Golf Club.
When Peter wasn't creating delectable food, he enjoyed recreational shooting in the foothills and doing Old West reenactments in shootouts as Pistol Pete.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dr. John Drives.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Lee Drives. His sisters, Patricia A. Drives (Vic Phillpotts); Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Mary Ellen Seeman (Bill); Circle Pines, Minnesota. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Ian Phillpotts, Canton, Georgia, Keely Phillpotts, Davie, Florida and Quinn Phillpotts, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Erin Hall (Byron), Patrick Seeman (Michaela),Circle Pines, Minnesota and Zach Martinson (Kristin), Forest Lake, Minnesota.
A brief interment service will be open to any after the 10 a.m. church service on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church.
Arrangements were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
