To Peter De Vuono: My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father. You probably do not remember me, but you were my science teacher at Charles Darwin school 1962-64. How strange: I was checking the Trib to find the notice for a friend that had passed, and your name caught my eye. It is not a common name; but I remember it well. You and Mrs. Prindiville were very positive influences in my life, she in creativity, and you in the world of science; and both of you in instilling self-esteem. One time, I made a paper sculpture wall hanging art, the theatre's sad and happy face, for you to take home. I do not know if you actually displayed it, but for you to request that I make it gave me such self-confidence; and I appreciated that then and now. Teachers can do the smallest things, and have no idea of the impact they can make on a child's life! I hope you see this note; and once again may I extend my sincere sympathy on the loss of your father. What a long and no doubt wonderful life he had. May you and yours be well, Sincerely, Victoria Ziemba

Our entire family is very saddened by Peters' death. We have known Peter and Angie for approximately 20 years. Our prayers go with him and his family. I hope he does not discuss politics with St. Peter because we want him to remain on good terms so he can put in a good word for us. God Bless you Peter.
