Peter Caruso Obituary

Caruso family; you have my deepest condolences for your loss.
I haven't see Peter for a while, he always came to visit at Marshall Fields/Macy's.
Peter always knew the best places to go for dinner. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

When I heard that Mutsie died, my mind instantly traveled back to 23rd St and those summer nights playing "Kick The Can" & "Hide & Seek". Fred Coco was kind enough to send a couple of very old photos to me of us, when we were quite young. We looked like the "Our Gang" kids. We were all a bunch of innocent kids & grew to be decent adults. Mutsie was always such a sweet guy. After we all went our separate ways, I rarely saw him. But, whenever I did, he was still the same wonderful fellow. Now,he is resting in the warmth of his mother's loving embrace, once again. I pray that all of his family find comfort in the treasured memories of him. God bless him and all of you always.

It was an honor to call Peter a friend. His mild manner, his caring ways, his thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
I so enjoyed the parties at Fran's house, he would be sitting at the first table near the garage. When I walked in he always greeted me with a huge smile and said I was wondering when you were going to get here. He and Judy always extended an invitation to dinner to me for Thanksgiving day. He never wanted me to be alone or not have a place to go. He would go table to table and always share some laughs with us at the parties. He would always tell me I looked like my mother.and happy memories of the good old days. His presence will be missed very much. There is a huge void. He is at peace now. Free to walk, talk, laugh and do the things he liked best. My deepest sympathy to all of you during this difficult time. He will remain in our hearts forever. Mary Fratto.

Dear Caruso Family my deepest condolences . I had the honor and pleasure to work for Peter. He had every honorable trait, his warm smile, his easy going attitude all made up the good person he was . He was small in stature but stood as a giant among us. When my youngest son was born and he found out his name was Peter, thats all she wrote, He sent my son baby cloths, toy cars, and doughnuts . He even talked to him on the phone quite a bit as a young child . Our loss will be heavens gain
