Peg Saladin Obituary

Saladin, Peg (nee McGourty), of Chicago, passed away September 8th, 2009 surrounded by her loving family after a long, courageous battle with ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease. She was always happiest when spending time with her family and friends. Peg was the beloved wife of Marty, loving mother of Katie and Jamie Cunning, and treasured friend to many. She cherished the friendship of Jacque McDonough and Maryellen DeBartolo, who were the two sisters she never had. At Peg's request, funeral services will be private. A memorial service honoring Peg will be held on Saturday, September 26th at 10:30 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church, 323 W. Illinois Street, Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Northwestern Memorial Foundation - Home Hospice, 676 N. St. Clair, Suite 2050, Chicago, IL 60611 on Peg Saladin's behalf.
