Pedro Diaz Obituary

DIAZ Pedro A. Diaz Jr., age 52, of Bridgeport passed away into the restful peace of the Lord on Saturday, August 20, 2011 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Pedro is the son of the late Carmen J. Pagan and the late Cecilio Reyes and Pedro A. Diaz and his wife Olga of Camuy, Puerto Rico; Pedro was a lifelong Bridgeport resident. In addition to father he is survived by his beloved wife Carmen B. Cruz of Bridgeport; his sons Joel and Carlos Diaz; daughters Sandra and Charlene Diaz; his stepdaughters whom he loved as his own Melissa Ortiz and Jessica Cruz; brothers Wilfredo, David, Rafael, Jose and Ricardo; sisters Elisabeth, Nixa and Carmen; six grandchidren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. He was predeceased by his brother the late Cesar Reyes and stepson the late Angel Retamar. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( La Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport.
