Dear Maureen and Colleen--



I hope that this saying will help you to remember your Mom and know that she is always watching over you.

I was very sadened to hear of the death of Paula. So young to be taken from her family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

I was so sorry to hear of Paula's passing. I was speechless. God must've needed another angel and thought she would be the the perfect one. Paula was always a caring and very helpful individual and full of wisdom. Maureen and Colleen always remember the Benitez family will always be here for you! You girls are part of our family and have always been in our hearts! Whenever you need anything don't hesitate to call me. I'd say goodbye and kiss you and

maybe see you smile.

But then I fully realized that this could never be,

for emptiness and memories would take the place of me.

And when I thought of wordly things that I'd miss come tomorrow,

I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through heaven's gates, I felt so much at home.

When God looked down and smiled at me, from His great golden throne,

He said, "This is eternity and all I've promised you.

Today for life on earth is past but here it starts anew.

I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last,

and since each day's the same day, there's no longing for the past.

You have been so faithful, so trusting, so true.

Though there were times you did some things you knew you shouldn't do.

You have been forgiven and now at last you're free.

So won't you take my hand and share my life with me?"

I was so sorry to hear of Paula's death. I have many happy memories of Paula and her family during the old Washington National days. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Remember that whenever you need her all you have to do is look up and she'll be there for you.

I have known you since the day you moved in and I will always remember how easily we adapted to eachother. Your mom was truely a wonderful person who would help anyone with anything no matter the circumstances. I will do whatever I can to keep her memories alive and I hope you will to. Her spirit lives through you two. Remember all the good times you had together. She will always be with you, maybe not her body, but her soul.

As a former colleague of Paula at KMZ, I remember her humor, her patience, her empathy and her wisdom. I not only considered her to be a coworker, but also a friend. She cared deeply for people, especially her family. I admire her greatly and I, along with many, many others, will miss her greatly.
