Paula M. Gabriel, age 65, passed away peacefully in her native City of Chicago. Devoted daughter of the late William and Marion. Paula was born and raised on the South Side and was a proud fan of the Hawks, the Bears, and the White Sox. She is survived by her cherished sister Patricia (Ted) Rowe, her beloved nephews Kevin and Kelly (Kaela) Rowe, and adored great-nephew Davin Rowe. Dog mom to Mistletoe, Mischa, and Pretzel. Paula never ran out of ways to show them love. Shortly after graduation from Luther South High School, Paula started working for the Social Security Administration, then the IRS, and over 20 years ago moved to the US Attorney's Office. She recently retired after 46 years of Govt. Service. An avid fan of movies and game shows, Paula would record The Price is Right and Jeopardy and knew every episode of the Andy Griffith Show. Paula loved holidays and could find a decoration for any occasion. Sitting on a beach by the ocean was her dream vacation and when she could no longer travel her favorite way to relax was a salon visit every Saturday. Paula will be missed. Visitation Friday, Sept. 9th from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Donnellan Funeral Home 10525 S. Western Ave. Chicago. Family and friends will meet for a graveside service Saturday 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery 11333 S. Central Ave. Oak Lawn.
