Paul Weber Obituary

Paul Weber
Paul Weber died on Friday, April 9, 2021. He lived a full life and grateful for each day as a gift from God.
Paul had retired in Central Texas in 1993 following a successful career in the United States Air Force. He served as an intelligence targeting officer at Headquarters Strategic Air Command, Omaha, Nebraska. He spent one year in Vietnam during that war working on B-52 bombing operations. He served as a research and development officer on the staff of the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon working on exciting stealth technology programs including B-2 Bomber and Advanced Cruise Missile. Paul was awarded many medals and awards during his career including a Defense Superior Service Medal and the Bronze Star.
Prior to his Air Force career, Paul attended Western State College in Gunnison Colorado receiving a master's degree in mathematics in 1965. He was a member of the Western State basketball team. He then taught high school mathematics at Lovelock Nevada in 1966 and 1967.
Paul was born 23 May 1942 in Wheatland, Wyoming. His parents were Leonard and Hazel Weber. He was the second of two children. His brother Alan and his wife Bonnie live in Wheatland, WY.
Paul is survived by his wife Marianne; his daughters and sons-in-law, Kerstin Ackerman of Georgetown, Texas; Cindy (Tim) Hartless of Chantilly, Virginia; and Andrea Cornelison of Columbia, South Carolina. He is also survived by six grandchildren Casey, McKenzie, Kellie, T.J. Hartless of Chantilly, Virginia and Clayton and Claire Cornelison of Columbia, South Carolina.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Cook-Walden North Lamar Funeral Home at 6:00 PM, with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at St. Theresa Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, with internment to immediately follow at Austin Memorial Park. Masks and social distancing encouraged at all services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Alzheimer's Association or Corpus Christi Catholic Church in South Riding, Virginia.
