Paul Wasecka
of Binghamton
Paul Wasecka, 89, of Binghamton, passed away Monday morning, November 27, 2006. He was born April 26, 1917 in Donora, Pa. He was predeceased by his wife, Katherine, who died May 9, 2006. They had been married for 69 years. He was also predeceased by his parents, Mary and Steve Wasecka; and his half brother, William Lucas. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Karen Wasecka, Apalachin; his daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Robert Seeger, Endwell, Nancy and James Driver, Windsor; his grandchildren, Katie and Rob Clark, Neal and Mary Driver, Michael and Jennifer Driver, Zachary and Alisha (Sickler) Seeger, Joseph Wasecka; two great-grandchildren, Griffin and Brady Clark. Paul was a retired employee of the General Electric Corp. in Westover. Upon retirement, he and his wife enjoyed travel and summers in the Adirondack Mountains. He was an avid N.Y. Yankee fan. Paul was devoted to his family and cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, on Saturday. Rev. John R. Martinichio will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery, Binghamton. Paul's favorite charities were children's organizations so, in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Binghamton Boys and Girls Club, 257 Washington St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
