Paul Praski Obituary
Paul T. Praski, age 77, retired CPD, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2021. Loving husband of over 57 years to Phyllis Praski, nee Ostrowski; Cherished father to Raymond (Michele), Timothy (Kimberly), and Michael (fiancée Sarah Baggs); Beloved grandpa to Jeremy, Emily, Austin, and Trenton; Dear brother to Carl (Martha); Uncle to Angel and Keith. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Jane Praski. Paul spent his professional life serving the citizens of Chicago for over 33 years as a Police Officer, earning 50 honorable mentions with his time on the force, and enjoyed his leisurely time fishing, bowling, and coaching his players. He will be missed by many. Visitation for Paul will be from 3-8 PM on Friday, September 10, at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S Pulaski, Chicago. Funeral to begin at 9:15 AM on Saturday, September 11, at the Funeral Home, proceeding to St. Denis Church, 8301 S St. Louis Ave, Chicago for a 10 AM Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's name to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, 1407 W Washington Blvd, Chicago, IL 60607.
