Paul Howell Obituary
He was born on April 6, 1925, at Oklahoma, the son of James Oscar Howell and Kinzie Davis Howell. On December 23, 1947, he was married to Nettie Phillips.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Rather; his son, Floyd Howell; his brothers, Coy Howell, Elbert Howell, and Lloyd Howell, and Kenneth Howell; and his sisters, Bessie Howell Irvin, Opal Howell Wright, and Alma Faye Howell.
He was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church and served in the Marines in World War II. William retired from the Arkansas Highway Department.
He is survived by his wife, Nettie Phillips Howell of Amity; his son and daughter-in-law, Paul Glen and Joyce Howell of Camden; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clint Howell of Searcy and Bud Howell of North Carolina; one sister, Chole Hill of Delight.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 6 PM to 8 PM.
Services will be held at 2:30 PM, Wedneday, February 23, 2005, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Watson officiating.
Interment will be in the Jones Cemetery, under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
