Paul Bianchi Obituary

Bianchi Sr., Paul J. Paul J. Bianchi Sr., loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, business partner, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on May 6, 2014, at the age of ninety six. Born on April 2, 1918, and raised in a very humble family in Chicago, Illinois. Paul moved to California with his wife Mildred (who passed in 2006) and their four children, and seized the work opportunities in the Sacramento area. In 1973, with incredible work ethics, aspirations, and determination to run a successful business, Paul opened B & A Electric Company. Paul's company reached across many western states. In 1979, Paul, along with his son Paul Jr., and William Crouse developed new Bianchi Estates of ranchettes on 104 acres in Northern Roseville, once known as the Old Bianco Ranch of vineyards and almond orchards. As a continuing member of IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Paul Sr. serviced his community until he retired in late 80's. Paul Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Fortunato and Angelina Bianchi; his brother, August (Gus); wife, Mildred Bianchi, the mother of his children; and great-grandchild, Paul Bianchi, IV. He is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, sons, Robert (Bob) Bianchi, Paul Bianchi Jr. and wife Lu, Richard Bianchi (Dick) and wife Carolyn, and daughter Sandra (Sandie) Olds; his sisters, Mary, Hope (Per), Blanche (Ping), Ada and Dalia (Del); as well as 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., with funeral services held at Cochrane & Wagemann, in Roseville, CA on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Our family invites friends & family to gather after the funeral at Lincoln Hills Clubhouse, 830 Groveland Lane, Lincoln, CA 95648.
