Still think of Father Pat and as his prayers for my family and me. I continue to pray for the souls in purgatory, especially my family, loved one and all Priests. Father was a wonderful friend and confessor and a great role model.

I just learned of Fr. Pat's passing. What a shock. He was way too young to be taken away from everyone whose path he crossed. How lucky I feel to have known him. I remember him from St. Christina's and the Charismatic group also. My prayers go to all his family. God must have needed Fr. Pat for his choir of angels. What a booming and delightful voice Fr. Pat had. God bless all his family.

Father Pat I just found out tonight at St Ritas that you have died. I can not believe it. The 24 years plus that I have known you - You have alwaysbeen a very Holy Depply committed to God and His service. Everytime I would come to visit you If you were not taking care of business of the parish - you were always in front of the Blessed Sacrement. At your first healing Mass at st syms- my friend and I attended- , during the Mass when you extended you arms out your vestment ( white , with flames of fire mebroidered onthe bottom) that chasibel turned luminesous and the flmes on the bottom became real flames- both my friend and I had seen it=- it took us over a month to speak of it. God chosse you for zhis work and blessed you with His power of healing. .
I cannot tell you good-bye. you have seen us thru so many things- last year when we came to see you beforem my surgery, you spent over an hour and a half with us- that visit will forever be in my heart, that day was so very special for me, God really needs ot leave the good ones like you here we so need priests like you. I will miss you deeply . I can not imangine this world without you in it. Thank you for ll you have done Father Pat, you are truly God's hand on this earth. It was such a privelege to have known you from The time you first came to St Syms. My heart is broken knowing I will never again be blessed by you or be able to come and visit you or receive Our Lord from your priests hands again. God keep you in HIs arms and at His side.

Fr. Pat was a great man. He helped my husband through some tough times, and he also helped me regain some of my faith. I only wish he would have known that my then-roommate became my husband, and I wish he could have officiated our union. He was a great man, and I'm a better person for knowing him. I'm glad we had him come bless our home.

I was at mass yesterday at St Patrick's in Lemont when the priest asked us to pray for the soul of Fr Patrick Henry from St Catherine in Oak Lawn. What a horrible shock. My deepest condolences to his family. He truly is a saint in heaven now but a terrible loss for this world that needed a special and beautiful soul to guide us as he did. Words fail me in expressing my sympathy once again to Fr Pat's family. He is with you, I know.

What an amazing and beautiful tribute today to a wonderful man! Fr Pat's nieces are very talented, from singing to speaking... I will never forget today, last week, or the 8 years of peace and joy when I saw that Fr. Pat was saying Mass, or walking across the parking lot waving, or asking me about my loved ones....He brought me more peace than I realized.... I one of the lucky ones who requestied, believed, and witnessed first hand a healing miracle. I am forever in debt, and my faith has grown to new levels as a result of knowing Fr. Pat. I wish I could wake up from this bad dream, but am comforted knowing that he is experiencing the pure joy of heaven that we all strive for. I caught myself today at a moment of impatience, stopping... and saying to myself... WWPD? My goal is to do my best to be positive, smiling, caring for others, and patient... because Fr. Pat brought me to know Jesus by doing those things..... May we all begin healing.....

I am so sad to hear of Fr. Pat's passing. He married my husband and I at St. Symphorosa Church in 1991. He was a wonderful young priest who guided us as we prepared for our marriage. May he rest in eternal peace. Deepest sympathies to his family.

Father Pat, you were the priest who married my husband and I 23 years ago. You were also the celebrant at my brother's wedding and father's funeral--so you were present at many of my family's important life events. You were a wonderful priest and wonderful person who had an impact on SO MANY peoples' lives. I will always remember you with great fondness and admiration. You will be greatly missed. I will pray for you--may you rest in peace.

Father Pat was a kind and benevolent man, and a living testament to his faith. I will always remember how he would take the time to bless the children who were too young to receive communion as they accompanied their parents. His legacy will be all of the kind acts we will remember for the rest of our lives. I pray that he will rest in peace, the same peace that he brought to many during his all-too-short stay on this earth.

Dear P.J. I remember walking to St. Catherine's church with Cathy and John, all the way from your parent's house. How wonderful that you became a priest there. I'm sure you made a great one; you always were a kind person and sweet soul. My condolences to your family .Kolleen Kelly

Pat, I danced with you at your ordination party. Your love for life was evident on that dance floor, and it is one of my most cherished memories. While we probably would not agree now on the path our church should take, we both share a love for it. See you when I see you and we'll have a beer and dance again. Nancy Novak

I met Fr. Pat when I was helping my mother plan my brother's funeral. I was truly amazed at the time he took with us to get a know my brother (who lived in another state). Based on the homily at the funeral, you would have thought they were old friends. He was a great servant of God and I am happy that he is now in Paradise. My condolences to his family.

As a brand new parishoner, I never got the chance to tell Fr. Henry that the overflowing of his love for the Church is what brought me to become a member of St. Catherine's. I mourn that he is not longer here with us but I rejoice that his is with Jesus.

Fr. Pat, May you celebrate eternal life now with our Lord and Savior in heaven. Father Pat has been a good friend and words cannot describe my sadness today when I learned of his death. Since I moved to San Diego eleven years ago, Fr. Pat has always shown concern for my family and me. He has been one of the people I visit whenever I am in the Chicago area. He has been one of the kindest and holiest Priests I have had the privilege of knowing. May he rest in peace and may all his family and friends find comfort in Jesus knowing we will be together one day in Heaven. In His Love, Pat Morris

I had the pleasure of working with Father Pat with the St. Syms Youth Group in the late 80's. (in Clearing! Not Garfield Ridge! :-) ) He also performed my marriage ceremony in 1990. I last saw him at my Grandma's wake 18 years ago.
He was a wonderful person and an AMAZING man of the cloth. We were all lucky to have him in our lives for whatever the time frame. I know he is safely in the arms of Jesus and will be watching over all of his congregations from Heaven.
My very deepest sympathies and prayers to all of his family and loved ones. You will be missed, Father Pat!
