I still think of Pat often. I now lead the literature class that Pat lead for several years. She was such a positive, forward-thinking woman. To me she was always much younger than her years.

Kate your mama was a beautiful woman inside and out. I feel so blessed to have known her. And share the blue eyes. She was loved by my brother Evans who she tutored in 6th and 7th grade at Fairview South. Sending love and sympathy. Sincere condolences. xo Debi

We had only known Pat for the past three years, but had joined her legion of admirers. Always friendly and kind, she always had a positive attitude. I especially enjoyed the light in her eyes when she spoke of her special relationship with her grandson. Enjoy heaven, Pat!

Sending my deepest sympathy to your family. I knew Pat from our many years working together at Fairview. She deeply cared about the students she worked with and always supported the classroom teacher. She was a kind hostess to have had several of our end of school year parties at her home. May her memory be a blessing.

I feel so lucky to have known Pat. She was an inspiration. She and I coordinated the World Literature Class at LLI and that partnership developed into a true friendship. Pat loved life and wanted to be sure she lived every minute of it she could. She brought so much good to so many people. I will truly miss her. May her memory be for a blessing.

To the family of Pat Roth:
I was extremely saddened to read about the passing of Pat. I was a special education teacher and I first met her professionally. She was a brilliant, humorous, dedicated to social justice, and just an amazing person! As of recent, I was
in classes with her at Life Long Learning and we enjoyed each other. I will truly miss her and the world has lost a person whose intent was always to make a difference in the world and more importantly, in someone's life. I have made a donation in her memory to The Chicago Food Depository.

I am truly sorry to read this obituary. I knew Pat from the LLI program at National Louis University. Lovely lady. I knew I hadn't seen her lately but had no idea that she was ill.
My thoughts are with the Roth family and again, I feel so bad.
