Patricia Erwin Obituary

Patricia Erwin was my first cousin, although we (myself and my late sister Peggy) knew Pat as Aunt Pat. I understand that she was my mother's bridesmaid. My dad was her uncle Billy. I will always remember her for her kindness, thoughtfulness and loving nature. She visited us 25 plus years ago. During this stay, she take care of my son while my husband and I where able to take a vacation together. First time in years. What a blessing, while here, she taught me a prayer and to this day I say if when needed. I'll share with you the story. My son Nicholas had misplaced his homework. Pat and I where sitting at the kitchen table talking when Nic came in crying about his loss. I asked him if he had said a pray to St. Anthony. Pat instantly said that I had to get with it and proceeded to tell us this pray; "Tony, Tony turn around I lost my (__________) and it's got to be found". Well in that case it was Nic's homework...sure enough he found it. I have repeated this so many times over the years, teaching it to anyone willing to listen and give it a try. Tony has never let me down nor anyone else for that matter. Thank you for allowing me this chance to again state what a wonderful women she was.
