Pat Cronin Obituary

Pat Somers Cronin was my dear friend and golf buddy at RCC Nine Hole Golf for the last ten years she and I played. She'd usually show up a little late, because she would be coming from mass. Then we would tear up the fairways and greens together, chase golf balls for nine holes and crack jokes about it. Lunch and a cocktail was our real goal! But I learned a lot about her and how much she loved her family! Her quiet strength and resolve to be a devout Catholic was her core being. Pat was proud of all her writings, because she had so much to give of herself and writing had no limits for her to express her brilliant wit and wisdom. Forever in God's hands, may her light shine eternally!

Please accept my deepest sympathy. Pat was a wonderful person--and an excellent communicator. I always enjoyed talking with her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

A long rich life of faith, hope and love comes to a close and leaves such an empty spot, along with a strong legacy of intellectual rigor and engagement with the human family. I always enjoyed our conversations in front of CK after Sunday Mass with her and Jim. God's peace to all who miss her so.
