She is the daughter of the late George Georgiou and Paraskevi Georgiou (nee Georga), devoted wife of the late Nicholas C. Velisaris, loving mother of Georgia Velisaris of Naperville and Chris (Mary) Velisaris of LaGrange, adoring grandmother of Christopher Velisaris and Madalyn Velisaris, sister of Athena (the late Panos) Katsoula of Kiato, Corinth, Greece and Anastasios (Ioanna) Georgiou of Assos, Corinth, Greece, preceded in death by her sister, Penelope, aunt of many nieces and nephews.
