Pamela Hylka-Kuyper Obituary

Hylka-Kuyper, Pamela 46, of Bourbonnais formerly of the Chicago area, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on September 12, 1971 in Oak Lawn, the daughter of Vernon Hylka and the late Josephine (Lucente) Hylka. Pamela married Allen Kuyper on October 10, 2010 in Worth, IL. Offering comfort, food and advice, Pamela was the mom of the neighborhood. She enjoyed crafting. She is survived by her husband, Allen Kuyper of Bourbonnais; three children, Ryan Kotula of Bourbonnais, Emalee Kotula of Bourbonnais and Kolton Kuyper of Bourbonnais; her siblings, Dina (Tom) Krska of Romeoville, John Hylka of Chicago Ridge and Jody Hylka of Joliet; her father, Vernon Hylka of Chicago; her adopted son, Dustin Earley of Bradley; aunts, Diane (Rino) Bellan of Worth and Collette Hylka of Chicago; her beloved dogs, Daphne and Lilo; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother; maternal grandparents, John and Helen Lucente; her paternal grandparents, John and Veronica Hylka; one aunt, Adriann Hylka; and two beloved dogs, Dopey and Daisy. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Schreffler Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Funeral mass will be Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Maternity BVM Church. Rev. Freddy Steel will officiate the service. Cremation rites will be accorded following the mass.
