I do not know Owen's family personally but I wanted to leave my condolences for them when I learned of Owen's sudden passing. I worked in Glenview for more than eight years and my job allowed me the privilege to work along side Owen and other members of the Glenview Police Department. He had a warm manner about him and always had a smile on his face. His work in the community was respected and will be remembered by not only those living there and working there now, but by those of us who worked there in years past. I am so very sorry for his sudden and untimely passing and wish his family strength and peace during this difficult time.

Owen, I will remember our grade school and high school years fondly--definitely some fun times amidst all the anxieties of growing up and maturing. Deepest sympathies to Kelly, Michael, Mrs. Masterton, and all of Owen's family and friends. Heaven's police force has gained a chief. God bless, old friend.

Kelly, Michael and Masterson Family, Please accept my deepest condolences, Owen was such a great guy. I will always remember his impish smile, he always looked like he was up to some kind of a prank. I'm so glad I got to know him, he will be missed by all who knew him. May God Bless Owen and you, and hold you all in the palm of His hand. You are in my thoughts and prayers. RIP my Brother in Blue.
