Randy and Vickie,

I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing, but I know, Randy, that you had said several months ago when we talked that he was not good. No matter what was happening to him, I know it is most hard to let someone go whom you love so dearly. I was out of town all weekend and did not learn of his death until Sunday (2/6) around 5:00. You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers all day and will continue to be as you go through the coming months. I always enjoyed talking to your dad, and your mom, through the early years of our friendships and school years when Buttons and I came to your home.
