To the Vassar Family,
Hold fast to your memories,
to all of the cherished moments of the past,
to the blessings and the laughter,
the joys and the celebrations,
the sorrow and the tears.
They all add up to a teasure
of fond yesterdays
that you shared and spent together,
and they keep the one you loved
close to you in spirit and thought.
The special moments
and memories in your life
will never change
They will always be in your heart,
today and forevermore.
My deepest sympathy to the family. May the love of friends and family be a source of comfort to you at this time. Remember that your loss is shared by many who care, and that you're in our thoughts and hearts and in our prayers.
Love Always,

To our Mother, Earnestine
Your sweet gentle spirit, your warm, tender ways,
The laughter and love that you share;
If I searched the world over,
I never could find another who'd even compare.
You mean so very much to us
And we just wanted you to know
That you are always in our heart,
No matter where we go.
You're always giving, always there
To help us in any way;
The loving things you've done for us,
We can never ever repay.
We can't imagine what we'd do
Without the love you give.
We'll treasure your sweet hearts of gold
As long as we shall live.
You brighten our days with the sound of your voices,
You bring so much laughter and love,
You're the best ever, and God must have smiled,
When He sent you from Heaven above.
What a joy to have someone as wonderful as you,
Who offers such concern and care in everything we do,
Who's always there to lend an ear to anything we say;
God bless you, in every single wonderful way
When we were young, you helped us to grow,
And taught us all we needed to know
Of love and trust and faith and hope,
And everything it takes to cope.
You may have thought we didn't hear,
Or maybe that you weren't quite clear;
But all the things you taught to us were heeded very carefully,
And now we want to thank you for
Your love, your care, and so much more
What would our lives be without you?
We'd never have made it this far.
You've helped us through all my endeavors;
You're the best! You're a peach! You're a STAR
We've been blessed with the love of a parent
Whose loving goes on without end;
I wouldn't have wished for another;
You are our parents, but more – you’re our friend.
Our sense of humor comes from you,
And all the funny things you do;
You make our world a better place,
And put a smiles upon our faces!
We thank you for the sunshine you bring into our lives. What sunshine is to flowers, you are to us.
Some are of the impression that flowers ought to be presented
as a symbol of admiration at the conclusion of life,
We believe that the beauty and fragrant of flowers ought to be enjoyed while one lives.
If we had a flower to present you with for each time you’ve helped us, you could walk in a garden forever.
We just wanted to say, Thank You! Thank You!! Thank You!!!
Bringing a special Thank You as sincere as can be.
Earnestine Vassar, it sure is nice of you to be so kind to us!!!
Love Always,
Joseph Tassone

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
Miss me a little, but not too long,
For now I'm Free
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found that place at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much.
Good friends, good times,
A loved one's touch.
When the pathway has grown too steep
God gives His dear one's sleep.
For this journey we all must take
And each must go alone.
A step on the road to Home.
