I was a 19 year old sailor in 1969

First weekend at Great Lakes NTC I went to Chicago

Stayed smart the Sherman House and met Hits at the bar....

Great guy who treated all like the POTUS....

When I hear "PIANO MAN" by Billy Joel I thought of Hots

I was privileged to have known him

Wonderful guy that was a part of the lore of Chicago. Never went to an Illinois or Notre Dame game without spending time with him at his piano. Fine man.

What a good man! What a wonderful friend.Hots was one of the most delightful people anyone could know.The day we met was indeed fortuate for me---just as today is one of the saddest.

What a guy and what "a wonderful life". Hots, your smiling face, your presence, and the love for your "girl" will truly be missed by hundreds and hundreds of friends.

Hots and I worked together at Hy's and what fun we all had there. I'm so happy on my last trip to Chicago I spent time at the Chop House with all my oldfriends.

Hots was a close and dear friend to my parents, Jim and Ceil. Over time, I considered Hots a close friend as well. Seems like he was a very special person to many of us, and will be greatly missed. My parents have passed, but I can't help think that they have re-connected with Hots, and are all having a great time, picking up where they left off!

For so many years he brought a song into our hearts-now a song has gone out of our hearts, but as Herbie Mintz would say, 'but not forgotten'. What a joy to have know Hots as a press agent,friend, a great talent and a wonderful musician.

As a second generation family friend we offer our condolences . Hots always listened and spoke with thought. I'll miss him .My words to him now Job well done.

Hots was a most engaging and sincere friend to many people. He was kind, gentle and funny. He never had a negative thing to say about anyone. All who knew him loved him. We will all miss him and his smiling face.

You will be missed by a lot of people including us. You were a good friend and a great piano player. Hope that in the heaven above you find Bill and the two of you can kibitz your way thru eternity

Hotsie was a dear friend for many years and we had some great times together. He will be missed!

"Hots" was a neighbor of mine at"The Heritage Condo"in Oak Lawn. Always a very pleasant person and good to talk to. He will be missed.

Hots,was always fun to be with,he will be sorely missed by Monica and me,but am happy he is at peace. Monica and Ed Mullns
