Norman Farnsworth Obituary

I was extremely sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Farnsworth, whose work I had been following for years.

It was an honor to be a student in your class Dr. Farnsworth.

My deepest sympathy goes out to you Priscilla. Your husband made great contributions to science. My prayers are with you and your family.

Aunt Priscilla, we are all so saddened by the passing of Uncle Norman. An extraordinary man, an extraordinary scholar and an extraordinary family man. He will be truly missed by all of us and all who had the honor of crossing his path in life.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Norm was a dear colleague and friend. I came to know him in his role as the Director of the NIH Botanical Research Center at UIC. He was an extraordinary person with a big mind and an even bigger heart. He will be much missed in the field of pharmacognosy.
