Norma Anderson Obituary

Anderson, Norma (nee Strobel) 90, formerly of Tucson, Arizona and Lincolnshire, Illinois, passed away March 13, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Lt. Col. Robert E. Anderson; fond sister to Eileen Strobel Serafine, the late Lila Lee Thoren and Jack Foster Strobel. Norma was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to the late Florence (White) and the late John Strobel. Norma established herself in the business world as a buyer for both Carson Pirie Scott & Co. and World Book Encyclopedia and was an avid reader. She and her husband enjoyed traveling to the Orient, Europe and Mexico and had a particular affection and love for dogs. She was aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.
