Nina D. (Frankenberger) Seifert,74, of Evansville, IN passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 13, 2015.She was born August 2, 1941 the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Helen (Cates) Frankenberger.
She was a 1959 graduate of Reitz High School. Nina was a homemaker, who loved to sew, crochet, cross-stitch and quilt she was also a Foster Parent, who fostered five children and adopted three children, and she loved to travel. Nina was a Brownie Leader and a Boy Scout Leader and was on the Vogel PTA and was also a tour guide for the Wesselman Park Nature Center.
Nina is survived by her husband of 53 years, David Lee Seifert; her children, Frances K. Seifert, of Evansville, IN, Michael D.(Gina) Seifert of Oak Ridge, TN and Christopher R. Seifert of Mt. Vernon, IN; four grandchildren, Samantha, Skyler, David and Breonna; a brother, Tom Frankenberger of St. Louis, MO and a sister, Betty Fieselman of St. Charles, MO.
Visitation for Nina will be on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 4 to 8PM in Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10AM. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be offered at www.sunsetevansville.com

Dear David & Family, I am so sorry for your loss of Nina. I was in St Charles Sat and we visited with Betty for just a little bit. She told me about her passing. I was going to try to make it to the Service Monday morning. But we did not get home from St Louis until late in the evening Sunday and by Monday I was totally tired. By the way I am Mary (Jarvis) Lehmann and Betty and I have been best Friends since 2nd grade. Again you and Nina sometimes would drive us to a ball game or a school function or Church.
