Nick was a fellow co-worker and friend at Oak Brook Public Works where Nick was a fixture around there for over 28yrs. When I suffered an injury at work last year and was hopitalized Nick had taken the time to travel all the way to Elk Grove Village to see me. I was touch by this and told him how grateful I was. This told me a lot of what kind of guy Nick was. He was always very helpful in showing me what to do whenever I was sent over to help. Nick and I shared commend bond between us in that we both were the oldest workers there and, often talked about retirement. Just last Tues. 29th of July we both worked what now would be his last off hr. emergency. A job that took us well into the night and next day. And even after working these long hr's , Nick was willing to stay longer just to make sure everything was perfect. That's just the type of guy Nick was. A very good co-worker, a friend, and very good guy overall who will be sorely miss by me and all the other guys who had the privilege of working with him. My deepest sympathy to the Pavich family. May God bless. And will keep the family in our prayers.

Nick was a fellow co-worker and friend at Oak Brook Public Works. He came to see me when I was in the hospital last yr. due to injury. The fact that he took time to travel to Elk Grove Village, told me a lot of what kind of guy Nick was. I was touch by this. And I told him how grateful I was. Nick was always very helpful with me in showing me how to do some of the work in his department whenever I was sent over to help out. We recently worked what would now be he last off hr. emergency last Tues. the 29th of July, we worked well into the night and next day.And he was still willing to stay later just to make sure everything would be perfect. That's just the way Nick was. A good guy, good fellow worker and a friend. You will be sorely miss by me and all your other friends at work. My deepest sympathy to the Pavich family. So Sorry to hear of the loss of our good friend Nick. I always enjoyed getting together with Nick and our friends on a lunch outing or whatever. Nick would stop by my house and chat for a min with my brother when working in the area, Tim will miss those visits as well. In the short time I knew Nick, I felt like he was a long time friend and a great person all around. My condolences to his family, Betty , and his friends.

In the few years that I knew Nick, I really considered him to be a great friend. We enjoyed getting together with our friends and sharing good times always. He would often be working in my neighborhood and would stop to say hello to my brother, Tim, who will miss seeing him as well. We all have lost a good man in this world and I'm especially sorry for his family and good friends. R.I.P. my friend.......Noyan & Tim Bulut(Oakbrook,IL)

What a Blessing Nicky was. This world has truly lost a special person. His heart, like his smile, was "bigger than the universe". He touched everyones heart and life in such a special way. I will miss his hugs too. Praying the Lord will hold all of you close to His loving heart. Keeping all of you close in my heart and prayers. Love always in Jesus.
