Nicholas Norusis Obituary

Norusis O.S.M., Fr. Nicholas. a solemn professed priest of the Order of The Friar Servants of Mary (Servites)-United States of America Province, died Tuesday, December 25, 2001, at Resurrection Life Center, Chicago. He was 86 years of age and a priest for fifty-seven years. He is the son of the late Matthew and Mary (Krapinskas), dear brother of the late Stanley (the late Stella) and the late Charles (Sophia), beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Mass of the Resurrection Friday, 10 a.m. at the Servite Parish of St. Domitilla, 4940 Washington, Hillside. Fr. Norusis will be lying in state at St. Domitillas from 9 a.m. until time of Mass, Morning Prayer form the Office of the Dead will also be said before time of Mass. Visitation Thursday, from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Ahern Funeral Home, 6621 W. North Ave. Oak Park (2 blocks east of Oak Park Ave.). Interment Servite Section at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
