Nicholas Kolar, 82, of Massillon, Ohio, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a carpenter for 27 years before his retirement in 1977, died at Massillon Community Hospital on Friday, December 6, 2002. Calling hours are scheduled for Sunday, December 8, 2002, 4-7 p.m., at Heitger Funeral Services Massillon Chapel, 639 First Street Northeast, Massillon. Scripture services are scheduled for Sunday, during calling hours, at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, December 9, 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Parish Church, officiated by the Rev. Edward Gretchko.
