Nicholas Crescenzo Obituary

I was very sorry to hear of Nick's passing. He will be missed. I remember my mom telling us, call Nicky, he'll tell you what to do! And, he always did. May he rest in peace.

Our Condolence to the Crescenzo Family. I was a neighbor on 71st of Nick and Judy. Our families shared many good times. And many visits to their house, Nick was always happy go lucky! He came from great parents. I can never forget them! Many memories, the block party, their front porch, grandma Crescenzos store, Nick and my brother Mike were friends too, so I saw him often. Those memories are cherished.

God Bless You in your time of sorrow. I am Frank Callahan's Granddaughter Maureen Dwyer Moore. I lived upstairs at 1713 W. 71st Street, 2 doors down from the C's. A great family- I can still remember Grandma C. always sitting on the front porch. Also a "St. Justin Kid".

Sharon - I have such great memories of Nicky coming home from work, putting his gun on top of the frig, and getting into family mode. I remember all of us staying up late to play scrabble, Anita and I were only in high school, Deneen was young sining "Tomorrow" in her room, and Rhonda was out on a date. We will miss him so much, and my heart hurts for you. He loved you so much, you could see it in his eyes. God bless you and may you find comfort in the arms of your family and friends. Love you!

When I walked into the Crescenzo household, I experiencied a loving family atmosphere that I had never known. Mr. Crescenzo was a role model that I still struggle to find in myself.

There is a quote, "People do not die for us immediately, but remain bathed in a sort of aura of life which bears no relation to true immortality but through which they continue to occupy our thoughts in the same way as when they were alive." If that is the case, our thoughts of your dad will forever be of laughter, fun, good food, good drink and friendship. Your dad had the most infectious smile and laugh of just about anyone. His grecarious personality made him larger than life and he will fondly be remembered and sorely missed by the 'other side' of the family.
