Nell Davis Obituary

Nell Hutto Davis, of Little Rock, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2004. She was born in Grant County, Arkansas October 5, 1913 and moved to Pine Bluff at an early age where she received her education. She moved to Little Rock in 1940 where she worked in the Arkansas State Comptroller’s Office. Nell married W. L. Davis in 1942 and he passed away in 1988. She was also preceded in death by her parents W.O. and Georgia Hutto; three sisters, Ruby Harrison, Bertie Snyder and Marie Holeman; and one brother A.C. Hutto.

Survivors include: two brothers; Herman Hutto of Russellville and W.C. Hutto of Brookfield, FL; a niece Charlotte Gonnering of Tampa, FL and a nephew; Bill Hutto of Brookfield, FL.

A graveside service will be held at 10: 00 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2004 at Roselawn Cemetery with Dolores Ost as the reader of the Church of Christ Scientist. Visitation will be open Wednesday, August 11, 2004 from 8:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
