Dear Buckinghams,
How lucky you were to have such a wonderful woman in your lives....she was such a special per-son and I really admired her in so many ways..I remember many lunches afterpaddle tennis where she gave me advise on raising my children and telling me what I could expect to happen as they grew older and went off to college...she made me feel I was on the right track and nudged me in the right direction without that preachy way some would have done it....I never heard her say a mean thing about anyone and she had such a talent to make you feel really special and she was fun ..so much fun to be with...What a lose you must be suffering but what a gift God gave to you. I know how proud she was of all of you
What a wonderful life..My love and prayers to you all and I am so sad that I was out of town for her Mass
Much Love,Janet Thomas

Art:
There are no words to express my sincere feeling about your loss of Nancy and and my losing a great friend. I feel very empty about not being at the memorial service, but Susan said there were cast's of thousands; so perhaps I may not have been missed. Dear Susan said how impressed she was with your personal rememberences with each visitor at the wake, relating everything back to Nancy. Think of this happy thought, no more pain for Nancy and she is now looking down at her family knowing it's the best family possible and she was was a success; a good wife and great mother and grand mother. Now at her young age and the sun shinning brightly on her, she is happy foreever.

We are so sorry about the loss of your mother. Words are hard to come by at times like this, but just know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. The article in the Tribune was a beautiful tribute to her. She sounds like a very special lady. Soon your memories will be a comfort to you.
