Myrtle Hickey Obituary

Sorry to hear about your mom she left me with many fond memories.

My heart holds great memories of life on Keeler, 1/2 a block from Hickey's "Fun" Home, where Gail and I enjoyed great times with Mary Ellen and Noreen. There were times we were inseparable and your mom always made us feel welcome, in the upstairs apartment and at the lake house in Michigan. Our family's prayers go out to your family.

I am so sorry to hear of Myrt's passing. If ever there was a place in heaven reserved for someone, it would be for her. You are all in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss of your Mom. I just found out and am very sad. She was a wonderful, cheerful woman. Mrs. Hickey was a doll to our brother Terry and he thought so highly of her. Our family was always grateful for the kindness she showed us when we lost our parents and brother. On behalf of all of us our prayers and thoughts go out to you.

On behalf of the Isler and Adamski families we send our condolences. You've been there many times for us in the past. And I'm sure you'll be there for generations of the future. Thank you very much Hickey family.

I have such good memories of Mrs. Hickey -- she always had a smile and a cheery hello for us kids growing up in the 1960's. We Benedicts lived less than a block away on Keeler and I remember being amazed at stories my parents told of great parties Mr. and Mrs. Hickey gave. What a full life she led, rich with experiences and the love of those who were lucky to know her! My deep sympathies to all of you in her family.

I am so sorry for your loss! Your Mother was such a special person. I remember how gracious she was when different members of our family died starting as far back as my Grandfather in the 1970's. I know that my Mom is probably enjoying your Mom today. They are probably catching up on everything. Please know that all of you are in my thought and prayers.

The loss of her is surely heatbreaking for all of you, and yet, isn't it somehow easy to see her sitting up there reaching out to each of you to comfort?
