Dear Burt & Family, I was a long time friend of your mothers. We got to know each other when I was the store manager at a shop in Watertower Place. Your mom was one of my customers. She and your Dad used to come into the store often. Throughout the years, we always kept in touch. Since my move to California, I hadn't heard from her for a while. Now, I know why! I want you to know that I always enjoyed her company. We always engaged in "lively" conversation. She was a very interesting and interested person. I will miss her very much. Sincere condolences to you and your family at this holiday time. Donna Drolet

My mother (Mary) and I wish to offer our condolences to you, Burt. You and I haven't seen each other for many years since childhood. I did see your mom from time to time when visiting my mother. My mom and Muriel were lakefront neighbors. My mom told me today that she heard of Muriel's passing and is very saddened.

Beloved ex motherinlove of Roberta Williams, a relationship not in the Book but in our hearts, Muriel was the persistent mensch and prophetess calling the disfunctional to right behavior. Ecumenical, righteous, loving, generous, and inclusive, i mourn her passing profoundly.
