Dear Jerry, Linda, Ava & Howie, I am so very sorry to hear about your mother. I was a neighbor and friend to Linda, and, I knew all of you, from Hayt and Kesser Maariv. I still remember the old neighborhood fondly, where I lived right next to the candy store. Again, my sincere condolences.

I am very sorry about the loss of your mother. All I have to do is close my eyes and I am back at the old apartment in Chicago. I can see it room by room, and in the living room and dining room, we are all gathered around smiling, laughing, and of course eating. I can see both Muriel and Bernie as if they were standing right in front of me. I grew up on the stories of the Blocks', Kahns' and Lanes' and the friendships that grew from living in the same building as they were all young marrieds' with their young families. I will treasure those memories always, as I am sure you will treasure the memories of your mom (and dad). From synagogue to Sears, our thoughts are with you.

Dear Jerry, Linda, Ava & Howie, I just heard about your Mom and just want to say that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families. I remember Muriel and all of you from Kesser Maariv I also remember your Dad Bernie from Boy scouts as my brother Jeff Miller was in the boy scout troop that your dad was head of. Jeff passed away in December of 2002 at 47 of a heart attack. I also remember your Mom from the the womens club at Kesser Maariv that I used to take my mom to on Wednesday evenings. You also probably remember my sister Roz who, went to school with Linda or Hebrew School. Again, I am so very sorry for your loss and will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew the Kahn family many years
ago when I went to Kesser Maariv
synagogue for services & Hebrew
school. I also went to grammar school with Linda. I would like to
extend my condolences to all of the
family.
