Morris Bohannon Obituary

Bohannon, Morris Served for 29 years in the U.S. Army and was the recipient of many distinguished awards and medals. He attended Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. Morris dedicated over 26 years of service with the Chicago Post Office and the Central Region Headquarters, overseeing the administration of postal systems in 13 states. Morris completed a three-year Diaconate Program that led his ordination as a Permanent Deacon. Morris will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 73 years, Ida; daughter, Victoria (Stanley); four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter: sister; nieces; nephews; and many wonderful supportive friends. Visitation services and Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m, and 11:00 a.m., respectively on Friday, September 8, 2017 at St. Alphonsus Ligouri "Rock" Church, 1118 N. Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63106. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Bellerive Cemetery, 740 N. Mason Road, Creve Coeur, MO 63141.
